Goodness...I love His Word!!

I will restore to you the years

that the swarming locust has eaten,

the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,

my great army, which I sent among you. (Joel 2:25 ESV)

Whatcha think about that one??!! How about a PRAISE JESUS and everybody break out some "hallelujah's!!"

I hope to one day be able to tell of the time when this promise is fulfilled in the life of someone I absolutely love and cherish, but for now....I know exactly why I want this Word hidden in my heart! I'm claiming it and believing it to be true!! I have no idea how long or what this new road will look like for my beloved sister in Christ, but I know my God wants to redeem and restore and make her whole again. And yes He can give you back those years that the stupid locust ate up!!

Bye bye locust. Bye Satan. We are done with you!!!

I love you, Lord!!!

I hope you don't mind, Fran, that I'm going to memorize this same verse. It speaks to my present circumstance and I'm trusting God for the promise of restoration.

Thank you for your faithfulness to speak TRUTH and LOFE into our community of believers. God is good. All the time. Even in this.

Love you, dear sister.

God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 AND 1 Peter 5:5

I changed my verse based on conviction from all this cultural war/mess. Lord, have mercy on us, and help me to stand for truth full of grace and LOVE!

John 1.14 ESV
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Back tracking a little bit - was finding that I was not really LEARNING it, just memorizing the words. I want more. HE wants more for me. I started thinking about how REAL chapter 1 is to me and then was just going through the motions in chapter 2 ... not acceptable. I need His Word in my HEART, not just my brain.

Bring it Lord ... BRING. IT.

So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
James 2:12-13 ESV

Well, late as usual. Here is my verse:

Now may the God of peace Himself make you completely holy and may your spirit and soul and body be kept entirely blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Thessalonians 5:23 (NET)
