Under some boxes.....and stuff!

What boxes? These pictures are from the day I moved in.

Well, this is our big moving week at our home! We aren't moving towns, just homes.

Regardless, as many of you know, moving is S-C-A-R-Y!! Where in the world did this stuff come from?? And, what do I do with it??

I'm an organzied human being, but my skills are being challenged at the moment.

If my name or blog runs across your computer screen or through your mind, can I selfishly ask from some prayer??? Especially that of patience with ya know....those kids! Thou shall not kill.

Love y'all. I'll post again over the weekend.
Hugs~

I'm praying! Moving is NOT fun!
But it is a great way to cleanse out your "stuff" and get super clean and organized in your new house - that is what I love about it! I hope it goes well!!! Thinking of you!

I just LOVE your sense of humor!! "Thou shall not kill!" You are hilarious!! I will SO be praying for you! All of that moving "fun" is fresh on my mind as you know!! My organization skills were challenged as well!! The Help Center in our area benefited GREATLY from my move!! Can't wait to see pics of the new house!

At least your boys are old enough to be of some help!

Love,
Charity

I have only moved ONCE in our 29 years of marriage---and our pending move is on the horizon...oh dear. Way too sentimental over here and it's got to go. Praying for you Fran! I need your new address to SEND THAT WRISTBAND---before my son throws it away with rest of stuff...may you have peace in midst of this move. Whew! Praying for you! Talk to you next week.

I know where you are at seeing as I moved two months ago and I pray that your move goes smoothly and that the boys will enjoy their new home and that God will give you and abundance of energy to unpack those boxes. When you have settled you will have to give us a tour. ;o)

Love You,
Patty

Oh dear!! I'm sure this is definitely a test of your patience! I'm kind of weird b/c I like to pack boxes and then unpack them and organize my things. I feel a sense of accomplishment for whatever reason! Anyway, I'll definitely say a pray for you this week! Good luck!

Father God I pray for Frannie right now and ask that you would move over her with your amazing peace! Father, may this time be ordered by YOU. Help her family be at peace and helpful during the move and help there be an excitement about what you have for them in their new home! God thank you for being Faithful to Fran and her family and I thank you for being her Peace!
In Jesus name I pray, Amen

I prayed as soon as I read your post. Moving is never easy and with 3 children to tend to it has to make it a little harder, however, I am sure they are big helps to you and your husband.
Blessings,
Linda

Fran,

Bless your sweet heart. I feel your pain. Moving is one of those things that the older I get, the more I dread. I will keep you on my prayer list and pray not only for the Holy Spirit to give you peace on these rough waters, but to give you much joy through this journey. Oh, and that your young men would help without complaining...

Happy New Year, I am so glad that I found you this year.

Much love, Joanne

Definitely praying peace for you!

Here are some of my practical tips. Create a master list. It is a little extra work, but worth it in the end. Get a binder or legal pad, number every box and put the box number and a general description of the contents by the number on the list! Also, get some colored sharpies and pick a color for each room of the house. Write the box number and name of the room on each box. When moving day comes, post a paper with the color for each room at the entrance of that room. When everyone is unloading the boxes, they'll know where to put them. Of course I say this assuming you are packing and moving yourself...hope this helps!

I am praying, sister! I would rather have a root canal as move! I will be needing some prayers from you come April when I pick up all my junk and move it to another place. In 8 years we have accumulated more stuff than most people do in a lifetime...what's up with that?

Fran!

I am so excited about your plate. Just email me your NEW :) address at lindsee_eddy@yahoo.com and I will get it to you asap. I have a picture of the holder coming so you can see that, too. Do you want the holder too, or just the plate?!

(You are my 2nd customer, so this is just exciting!!!)

Praying for your move, sweet friend. I too am moving out of my apt. and wonder where half the stuff I have came from?!

Can't wait for an update!

Ooo, praying that you got a good "cleanse" for your new house in your organizing! Went through that this summer, and I feel you dawg!

I blog so you can get a glimpse into my life as wife, mom of 3 boys, and someone who simply wants to bless others along the way. Have fun and be sweet :)
