Hang in there....

Hey all...

I'm a little grumpy today. I'm grumpy because of something going on our life that I need for it to be over.....

It's called SCHOOL. Yuck.

Ya see....once baseball season kicks in and our weekends are jammed full.....I DO NOT want to do school anymore. I'm done. My momma brain is worn out.

I want to throw in the towel and say..."We are finished. We're done, thank you very much. It's been a good year, but we're gonna step out a little early. We're busy now. Have a great Summer. See you in the Fall."

Hello???!!! Can't do that.

If you are a little weary in something, please don't give up.

If you are weary with a child, a job, a situation that seems to never get better, a relationship that seems to be stuck, a family member that is lost, a staleness with life, or simply just sick of school....

DO NOT GIVE UP!

The solution is simple.....

Go before the Throne of Grace and ask our Heavenly Father for a daily renewal of mind, body, and spirit......to move on.....to move forward.....renewed energy.....a new focus.....

I can rub off on my kids and before I know it....they have "checked out" of whatever it is that I've "checked out" from. That ain't good.

Stand firm. Be strong. Pray often. God will quickly fill you up with exactly what you need.
He'll see you through. He just does. He just will.

Isaiah 40:31 says this..."but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

How refreshing that is. I need to pray this over myself and in more areas than just my simple desire for school to be out.

Where are you weary???

I wanna soar like an eagle with Jesus!! I know you do too!!

Blessings and strength~
Fran

Oh God is so good....he gives encouragement through so many different sources/people. And they all say the same thing. As in the words of Beth Moore, perse-dang-vere!

Thank you for this encouragement today..even amidst your own frustration. I too have been weary of the day in/day out duties and responsibility and have really needed a break. Thank goodness I'm flying away on Saturday to see my best friend and spending a few days with her..I will miss my family though.

Knowing you, you will soar and not faint. Just love you so much. Soaring over here of sorts. Still no jobs but HE is providing----it's been since February and we watch every penny we spend. But desperation is always a good place to be! The bible readings this week were so touching to me....oh my goodness !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Love you my dear and still holding on to my nametag for August....I hope I don't lose it...

You are a thousand times RIGHT!

When I dont take my concerns and attitudes to the Lord DAILY, I am not allowing Him to mold me into the person He wants me to be and I definitely not letting Him use me.

I am so with you on the school thing, though. This is TCAP week for us,so we are even more ready for school to be out than ever!!!
Makes me want to sing this song that I dont even let my kids listen to;

I'm with you, but in reverse. I am so done with baseball... ha! ha! We haven't even had our first game. Big sigh! Fine then. I hear ya. I'll pray about it. And I'll repeat the same words over and over that I always do when I'm not looking forward to something: "This will all be over in just a few weeks. It's temporary." Of course, I'm usually saying that over something much worse than baseball... like surgery. But still. It works now, too. :-)

I'm so with you on being ready to wrap up the school year. Only problem for me is two weeks later...summer school begins :(
Thanks for reminding me that He can supply the energy....

I can relate, and we just started soccer and baseball. Although, I must admit, I would rather have my kids home all of the time. I love the relaxed schedule of the summer!

Great reminder!!! I find myself tired of several things right now and ready to give up! Seems more like I just need an attitude adjustment!

Never being one to assume you are the only one, you reach out to others to encourage THEM on the journey and not give up. I love your heart, Fran. When my kids were on the swim team, that defined summer for me, and I remember always thinking it is time for this year to be OVER. I have several places of that frustration now, and am so ready for God to move or move me. You hang in there with His love and grace. Love you, Annette
