2 totally different, but heavenly smells

Well, I just don't know what to say other than...

"my, my, my!"

I have had the pure joy of doing two beautiful things in the last two days that are a true slice of heaven in my book.

What are they, you ask?

Babies and puppies!

Babies and puppies....and some hilarious little boys along the way too.

Let me share via pictures....

my oldest son and my brother (PEACE OUT!)

I held my darling, only girl on my family side, for almost 2 hours of heaven. She smelled just like you would imagine!

This is my middle son behind me and he kept saying, "Mom, look at HIS little toes."
We aren't around baby girls much.

This is #3 son and "Mimi" watching.....

their cousins do this...

and this...

and again..

Boys, boys, boys.

Let's go back to that baby again. Her precious name is Lucy. Isn't she something?

Look what happens when you give a 10 yr old boy and his 7 yr old boy your camera...

Ok, here is a shot of me and my brothers...

ok..the people are cute and all in these pix, but look at this darling no-name puppy I have in our house now!! And, she sure does smell like that puppy you think she does!

This is our other dog, Bailey, checking out the new no-name dog in the way that only dogs can do..

Thanks for stopping by! I'm going to go love on my puppy some more. And, try to figure out a name for her.

Hugs and blessings~

Wow...babies and puppies...what a good day! :o)

I was actually hoping to come home to a post from you that included pictures, so thanks for not disappointing! Both of the girls - name and no-name - are adorable!

For some reason, "Rose", "Daisy" and "Petunia" all came to mind when I saw the puppy. Perhaps the whole idea of fragrances in this post brought on thoughts of flowers! :o)

I was so hoping to see pictures! Yay. Lucy is adorable. Lucy is my nickname for my little (ummm...okay, she's 17 now) girl. And the puppy...ever since we had to put down one of our sweet girls a few months ago...I've been itching to get a pup. But not so much wanting to deal with the puppyness, if you know what I mean.

Can't wait to hear what you name her!

Love ya.

OH!!!! Fran!!! Lucy is precious!! How did you leave!!!

And that puppy is just about the cutest little thing I've seen in a long time!

And by the way~ I have a few pictures like that on my camera...my girls snatched my camera one day last week and I have a picture of someone's tongue. The sad thing is, they won't tell me who it belongs to!!!

It looks like you've had a great weekend....

love you!
steph.

Hi Fran. I just did a quick catch up on your blog, and this post made me smile. We've been around family for the past 9 days and it has left me homesick for them. I also read your post about loving living in the South, and for the first time in 5 years, I find myself missing it...mostly because of family.

I thought of you a couple of times while in J-town. Man, that place has grown! Still the same, yet different.

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer...and VBS!

How fun to have family, babies, and lots of children all around. That little puppy is darling, too. I'd be holding beautiful Lucy, too. She's a doll. It's always a treat when you post some pictures. Love, Annette

Fran,

I loved catching up! Babies and puppies...so cute. I do miss holding my babies while they slept.

Goodness, where does the time go?

Your family is just beautiful.

I loved the picture with your brothers. My sister, brother and I are planning a road trip to drive down and visit our other sister in Southern California in Sept. I can't wait...no one makes me laugh like my brother and sister.

Love you friend, Joanne

I blog so you can get a glimpse into my life as wife, mom of 3 boys, and someone who simply wants to bless others along the way. Have fun and be sweet :)
