Love it! Makes me feel better that I am not the only one God has to clean up. Pride can sneak into my heart and life soooo fast and I never see it coming. Since doing "Breaking Free" in 2002, I have consistently asked the Lord to show me any pride in my life. He does!!
Congrats on the article.

I LOVED THE MINIVAN!!!!
and I never knew you had any kind of different car. Fran, I just love you! Thank you for sharing your heart because even when people can't see what we struggle with, God does and he works us through it. (Phil 2:13)
Praise Him for the delightful work of YOU!
love,
rachel
Awww Frannie! Congratulations on being a guest writer! Very fun!
Thank you so much for being so transparent! Your authenticity is speaking to people!
And, about the minivan--it could be worse, you could be driving one that's 8 years old! :) (But I can't get rid of the thing because it's PAID for! Driving it until it wont go any further!)
Oh girlfriend.
I LOVE you.
And the authenticity you bring to our world! Praise Him.
[I was talking to Nate just last night about the issue of pride God had been working on me....uggh!]
Dear Fran,
I can so relate. I also just turned 40 in August. I have been struggling the last few years with paying off credit card debts that I have been praying to God to help give me relief from. Through the process of my cutting back to get caught up, I began to realize how worldly minded I was and how my value seems to often be by worldly standards and not by Gods. It is a tough lesson that I struggle with daily. And I pray with you for God to help us to be who He created us to be and to be proud of it no matter where we are by the worlds standards.
God Bless,
Sherry
I love it, Fran! Love that you are able to share your story of God’s incredible work in your life and have the opportunity to help women grow in their confidence in Him! Way to step out in faith, girl!
Girl, I just LOVE your heart. LOVE it! And I love that you're just real. Thank you for speaking up and being so transparent. Pride is something that I MUST keep a check on. I'm continually praying for humility and asking God to lift me up, not my selfish pride.
